Re: SAA 2024

Wow! We have our first big surprise result of 2024 with Berry knocking off Centre 8-7. Anyone have insight to the result?

Re: SAA 2024

This whole forum is based on pointless comparisons, no? That's what makes this fun, as fans.

Re: SAA 2024

Sewanee drops a disappointing matchup in OT to Piedmont. Centre loses a disappointing matchup to Kenyon, a team that needed OT to beat Capital (losses to Sewanee and Rhodes already this season). Rhodes wins games against Capital and Carthage. Given there are enough common opponent results here is ho...

Re: SAA 2024

Seems like the more reasonable look would be to do 1. Centre 2. Rhodes/Sewanee 3. Everyone Else. Sewanee off to a strong start, but nothing telling in their 5 games says they deserve to take the throne from Centre. Rhodes lost two games to two arguably top 20 teams to start the season. Offense has n...

Re: SAA 2020

Rhodes handled BSC 17-6... Game was close through the first quarter tied 2-2, Rhodes went on a 8-1 run to close out the first half which really ended the contest. Rhodes first year attackman Matt Leone with 9 points (6G,3A) in his first start.

Re: SAA 2020

my apologies to the Warriors, but I do believe they will be battling Oglethorpe for the last spot in conference. I would love to see the Petrels make some strides forward this year, anyone have any insight with what is going in with that program in Atlanta?

Re: SAA 2020

Figured with several SAA teams beginning their 2021 campaigns this weekend that it would be good to start back up on the forum. Anyone have any indication of how the SAA will shake in what will be a year unlike any other? Hard to get a read on teams from a shortened 2020 season, but if I had to I wo...

Re: SAA 2020

Rhodes ousts Transy 18-7. Not much of a contest, with ten different lynx scoring. Sewanne falls to Roanoke and Berry falls to Southwestern ( :? )... Lynx seemed poised for another solid year in what seems like a much weaker SAA.

Re: SAA 2019

Looks like Rhodes and BSC and Hendrix are the only SAA teams in action this weekend. Looks like Rhodes has scheduled a scrimmage against Georgia Tech's club team, but has not listed the scrimmage on the College's website. Any word on what the lynx will be like this year? Hoping that Hendrix and BSC ...

Re: SAA 2019

Solid showing by the Vikings against a premier program in Salisbury. Viks played their game, physical and tough, and hung around until the final period. Berry has to be extremely pleased with the result, minus the loss. That being said, lets not rush to say the conference is "theirs to lose&quo...
